Delegates Eligibility


  1. Asia World Model United Nations welcomes youth aged 15 to 25 who are interested in gaining conference experience or have a strong interest in global affairs to participate as delegates. Individuals aged 11 to 14 may join as junior delegates.
  2. Participants under the age of 17 must be accompanied by their designated guardians to ensure their welfare and to prevent complications with immigration authorities.
  3. Junior delegates must be accompanied by a designated observer aged 17 or older throughout the event.
  4. All delegates must either be enrolled in high school or university, be high school or university graduates, or be affiliated with international organizations, institutions, or companies.
  5. Delegates may select up to two council preferences and two country allocations.
  6. All matters regarding country allocation and council preferences are subject to the discretion of the organizing committee.

Observer Eligibility


  1. Observer can be anyone at any age which includes and not limited to teacher, parents, guardian, mentor, siblings of the delegates that want to experience Asia World Model United Nations without directly participating in the meeting sessions.
  2. It is mandatory for observer under the age of 17 to be accompanied by their designated guardians for the conference in order to prioritize the welfare of our participants and prevent complications that may arise from immigration authorities.

Refund Policy


  1. Binding Agreement
    By registering for and/or making any payment toward an International Global Network event, the participant acknowledges and agrees to be legally bound by this Refund Policy.
  2. Strict No-Refund Policy
    All payments made to International Global Network (IGN), including but not limited to participation fees, booking seat fees, and any partial or full payments, are final, non-refundable.
  3. Limited Exceptions
    Exceptions shall only apply under the following circumstances and shall not apply to participants who have only paid the booking seat fee:
    • In the event that International Global Network (IGN) unilaterally changes or cancels the event. In such cases, any form of compensation, if provided, shall be solely at the discretion of IGN.
    • Visa rejection cases applicable only to participants registered for the Seoul and Geneva events, subject to the submission of valid and verifiable proof of visa rejection issued by the embassy of the respective country.
    • Requests must be submitted by the participant directly to [email protected]
    • For the Seoul event, requests must be submitted no later than thirty (30) days prior to the commencement date of the event (D-30). For the Geneva event, requests must be submitted no later than sixty (60) days prior to the commencement date of the event (D-60).
    • Failure to submit the request and supporting documents within the specified timeline shall render the request ineligible for review, and the refund request shall not be processed.
    The following refund structure shall apply to any approved refund request, calculated based on the date the refund request is approved by International Global Network (IGN):
    • More than 60 days prior to the event commencement date: refund amount of 100% of the total payment made
    • 31–59 days prior to the event commencement date: refund amount of 70% of the total payment made
    • 15–30 days prior to the event commencement date: refund amount of 20% of the total payment made
    • 7–14 days or less prior to the event commencement date: refund amount of 0% of the total payment made
    The applicable refund amount may be subject to an Administrative Charge of 5%. For payments made via PayPal and Manual Bank Transfer, the refund amount may also be subject to applicable transfer-back charges in accordance with the prevailing PayPal and Bank policies and regulations at the time of the refund process. Please note that the refund process may take a minimum of 60 business days from the date the request is approved.
  4. Force Majeure
    In cases of force majeure, including but not limited to:
    • War
    • Pandemics
    • Natural disasters
    • Acts of terrorism
    International Global Network (IGN) shall be released from any obligation to provide a refund.
  5. Finality of Decision
    All decisions made by International Global Network (IGN) are final, binding, and not subject to appeal or further correspondence.

Event Transfer Policy


  1. By registering for and/or making any payment toward an International Global Network event, the participant acknowledges and agrees to be legally bound by this Event Transfer Policy.
  2. All payments made to International Global Network (IGN), including but not limited to participation fees, booking seat fees, and any partial or full payments, may only be transferred to another International Global Network (IGN) event upon approval by International Global Network (IGN) and shall be subject to applicable eligibility requirements, administrative procedures, submission deadlines, and the availability of participation slots in the requested event at the time the transfer request is reviewed by International Global Network (IGN).
  3. International Global Network (IGN) reserves the right to deny any event transfer request that does not comply with the applicable policies, administrative requirements, deadlines, or event capacity limitations.
  4. Requests must be submitted by the participant directly to [email protected]
  5. The request must be accompanied by valid supporting evidence in the form of official documentation substantiating the grounds for such request. International Global Network (IGN) reserves the sole and absolute right to request additional supporting documents, information, or verification materials at any time as deemed necessary for the assessment and processing of the request.
  6. Approved event transfer requests shall be subject to applicable cancellation fees determined by International Global Network (IGN). The following cancellation fee structure shall apply to any approved transfer request, calculated based on the date the request is approved by International Global Network (IGN):
    • More than 60 days prior to the event commencement date: cancellation fee of 0%
    • 30–59 days prior to the event commencement date: cancellation fee of 30%
    • 29 days or less prior to the event commencement date: cancellation fee of 100%
  7. For participants who have only paid the booking seat fee, event transfer requests must be submitted more than sixty (60) days prior to the commencement date of the event. Any request submitted less than sixty (60) days before the event commencement date shall result in the booking seat fee being forfeited, non-refundable, and ineligible for transfer to any other event.
  8. The applicable cancellation fee shall be deducted from the participant's original payment before any remaining balance is transferred or credited to another International Global Network (IGN) event.
  9. If the remaining balance after deduction of the applicable cancellation fees is insufficient to cover the participation fee of the requested event, the participant shall be required to pay the outstanding balance prior to confirmation of the transfer.
  10. If the remaining balance after deduction of the applicable cancellation fees exceeds the participation fee of the requested event, the excess amount shall be forfeited and shall not be refundable.
  11. Each participant shall be permitted a maximum of one (1) event transfer only. Upon approval of such transfer by International Global Network (IGN), the transferred registration shall be deemed final, binding, and non-transferable, and no further transfer requests shall be accepted or processed under any circumstances.
  12. Participants who are unable to attend the transferred event shall not be entitled to any refund, credit, postponement, or additional transfer. All participation fees paid shall be deemed forfeited.
  13. All decisions made by International Global Network (IGN) are final, binding, and not subject to appeal or further correspondence.

Visa & Flight Ticket


  1. VISA and flight tickets are not included in any of the payment packages for the Asia World Model United Nations.
  2. Participants are responsible for arranging their own flight tickets and VISA, if required.
  3. Please research in advance whether you need a VISA to enter the host country and prepare accordingly if you do.
  4. All questions regarding VISA requirements to enter the host country can be directed to the host country's embassy in your country or the nearest available embassy, or you may consult a local travel agency.

Privacy and Intellectual Property Rights


  1. Asia World Model United Nations reserves all rights to any and all data, including photographs, videos, and other materials, submitted or captured during the conference and related events.
  2. No unauthorized use of materials is permitted. Any use of these materials, including but not limited to publication, distribution, or commercial exploitation, requires explicit written consent from Asia World Model United Nations.
  3. Asia World Model United Nations reserves the right to update and change information without prior notice.

Code of Conduct


  1. Registrants hereby certify by completing the registration process that all information submitted is truthful and accurate. The registrants understand that falsification of any information provided will disqualify them from participation in Asia World Model United Nations and the Asia World Model United Nations activities and falsification of information or impersonation may result in legal actions.
  2. Participants agree that all materials produced for this conference will be original work. Plagiarism will not be tolerated at Asia World Model United Nations, and should the Asia World Model United Nations Committee discover instances of plagiarism, the individual will be disqualified from the conference without refund.
  3. Participants are expected and required to obey the laws of the host country while attending the Asia World Model United Nations.
  4. Participants are personally responsible for all charges and damage to the facilities of the conference and social event venues.
  5. Unforeseen events such as illness, accidents, among other things and the emergence of unexpected costs during the conference will be the participant's responsibility.
  6. Participants understand the full assumption of risks and acknowledge that Asia World Model United Nations and its committee, elected representatives and employees, do not assume any responsibility for the conduct and activities of the participants.
  7. Participants must be aware that sexual harassment is highly condemned in this event. The possession of illegal drugs and weapons is also prohibited. Should the participants fail to abide by this regulation, the respective participants will be disqualified from the event and asked to return to his/her country immediately.
  8. While we are committed to welcome individuals with disabilities or health conditions, the event committee is unable to offer personal assistance during the event. We recommend bringing a guardian or companion during the conference.
  9. Participants agree to accept and abide by this Code of Conduct.
